Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013

The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 finale catwalk was set on four working escalators in Paris. The collection was inspired by the Sixties with backcombed beehives and alice bands with a bow. The models all wore incredible range of different checkerboard outfits in lots of colours including black and white, baby pink, yellow. I thought this catwalk was so imaginative and unique with all the models coming down the escalators. Although it was a sixties inspired theme I really thought the escalators and the collection itself had a real sense of futurism to it, almost like the models were robots. The bold checked prints added to this futuristic feel and made it the best catwalk show for me this season. I cant wait for all the bold checked prints to hit the high street in the summer and i'm sure its going to be a huge trend especially the Monochrome colours used throughout.
